The Physician Assistant Division, Department of Community and Family Medicine, Duke University Medical Center, is pleased to offer these genetics training modules to physician assistant programs across the U.S. The modules provide a basic understanding of key concepts in the field of human genetics, and each module takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes to complete.

The modules were funded in part through a primary care training grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to the PA Division, and a HRSA cooperative agreement, the GIFT project, and in part from a grant from NHGRI (HG00026).


GIFT is a collaborative effort of the Duke School of Nursing, the Physician Assistant Division, Department of Community and Family Medicine, and the Center for Human Genetics, Duke University Medical Center.
